Vamastyle began as the fashion brainchild of Kaitie Manani who was in search of more casual summer options to wear in the Singapore climate, such as colorful prints and soft flowing fabrics. Along with the addition of a swimwear line 18-months ago, vamastyle now provides pieces for your whole summer wardrobe.
These days Kaitie has swapped Singapore for Hong Kong and is focusing on growing her online business, which ships free worldwide. There are now concessions in Singapore and Hong Kong for those of us who like to try before we buy. Vamastyle also allow residents of Singapore to view the collection not only in local concessions but also in their showroom.
This label is all about dressing for the eternal summer (good for us in Singapore) with lightweight and feminine designs perfect for holidays and everyday life in the sun.
Having personally sampled and styled ‘The Parker’ jumpsuit and the ‘Innika’ swimsuit I can report that the styles and fit are perfect for dressing our curves and rocking resort wear chic.
Kaitie’s personal laid back and relaxed style is reflected in her colourful designs seeking inspiration from online interior blogs, magazines, pinterest and travelling.
Always keen to discover new boutiques or brands I asked the jet setting Kaitie what her favourite Singapore fashion boutiques were and here are her go to favourites:
– Edit Lifestyle, Tanglin Road
– Simone Irani, Cluny Court
– WYLD, Joo Chiat Lane
And a parting gift…Kaitie’s top fashion tip; “Stick to 3 colours in an outfit then you are sure to always look on point”.
