Everywhere you go these days its about healthy living, being eco-friendly and learning to treat our planet and our bodies that little bit better. Open Farm Community leans on this concept by creating an ever changing menu filled with seasonal ingredients and ones that are grown on site in the pretty gardens. The menu also contains handmade pasta dishes and fresh fish choices for the discerning diner.
For my main dish I chose their recommended dish – the Mud Crab Spaghettoni with Thai curry sauce. I wasn’t exactly sure how this would look or taste but I love all of the ingredients so I decided to give it a go and I am so glad that I did as it was so very tasty. The creaminess of the Thai curry sauce went exceptionally well with the long thick strands of pasta and the sauce had a slight spicy kick which is always a winner in my book. The crunchy yellow squash and crispy shallot thai basil were great additions to the dish and added an element of texture.
With no room for dessert and a wonderful evening spent with great food and even better friends we all decided we will definitely be back for more very soon.
