Living the life of an expat, planning for the holiday season is something that usually comes around in June when dates for travelling home are decided, Christmas plans are confirmed and flights across the world are booked. Basically it makes even the least disorganised of us kick our bums into gear. This year I won’t be flying home for Christmas due to the arrival of the Twinthrops so we will be spending not only our first Christmas as a new family (Yay) but also our first Christmas away from home in the UK (Sob).
With the arrival of the babies I have had to be even more organized than usual and get some of my holiday plans sorted before their arrival.
One of my favorite things to receive throughout the year but especially at Christmas is a hand written card. I am always on the look out for new stationary brands and pretty designs to send our nearest and dearest. This year I discovered Basic Invite, who allow you to customize your holiday photo cards online and what I really liked was that you can have your final design printed and sent to you so you can see the design in the flesh but also feel the paper quality too.
Being a sucker for a Christmas party especially if it involves mulled wine and a Friends style quiz, we often host a get together (although this year may be slightly different!) Here are some great Christmas party invitation ideas that I immediately fell in love with. I also loved the amount of choice that they have with more than 250 designs for a holiday party invitation template to fit most themes that I could customize.
Good news is that they currently have 30% off your holiday order, just use the code holi30 at the checkout.
I can’t wait to send ours out this year with the Twinthrops taking centre stage!
