Bali post: “It’s not my fault I love Gelato”

in Uncategorized on 05/03/14

Happy Friday Everyone!!

This weekend I am in Bali with two of my favourite people Jen and Simon hoping to soak up some sun, eat some great food and have a relax by the pool.

Whether you are in Bali this weekend or planning a trip soon you have to visit Lello Lello. We went there for a late dinner yesterday and loved it! The concept is curry and ice cream!! What’s not to love!

Firstly we started with a beef rendang and a chicken curry with a rice and roti to share which was all delicious and the portions weren’t too big so we could save some room for the delicious gelato afterwards. Sorry there are no photos of the curries but we got too excited!!

Great food and great prices (the curries work out about £2.50 each for my UK friends or $5 for my Singaporean people). This is perfect place for lunch or to round off a day at the beach.

You have to go to Pettitenget restaurant – it is brilliant. Also Motel Mexicola for great Mexican food! xxx

Oh beautiful Bali, take me back… Lello Lello was certainly a highlight! I also loved Naughty Nuri’s (the pork ribs are to die for and the ‘secret sauce’ marinade is unbelievable) and no visit to Sarong restaurant would be complete without the lamb stuffed naan. YUM!
