As you walk in you are greeted by a tower of sesame seed bagels and the small deli bar area. After being seen to our seats we began to peruse the menu before deciding upon a smoked salmon with onions and herbed cream cheese bagel and corned beef hash with an extra egg. as with most newly opened places there were a few hiccups. For instance the request of an extra egg nearly caused a meltdown behind the scenes before the owner was consulted who successfully sorted out the situation.
One major plus for Sacha and Sons is that you can book a table in advance. I can’t tell you how nice it is to book a table at a new place in town instead of knowing you will have to queue for hours. Which by the way I just don’t on principle.
My verdict? It’s a great novelty to head to for your bagel hit in Singapore but get in there quick before everyone else finds out about it too!
